Some artists develop their creative talents over the course of years of practice and training. Others seem to be born with a natural “knack” or artistic ability, sometimes not even knowing they possess it for years, until that moment the discovery is made and a piece of who they are clicks into place. Destiny is born.
Kara Jane’s story is just so - birthed in a “suddenly” moment as if someone had placed a perfectly wrapped gift inside of her, waiting for it to be discovered, opened and received. Once opened and received this gift would be given back to the world in an array of colors, depths of texture, and waves of expressions. Kara discovered this gift rather unexpectedly as she enjoyed an afternoon of creative fun with her dad. While fashioning beautiful pieces of epoxy resin artwork together, a father-daughter bonding moment ended up awakening something inside Kara that she never knew she carried...until that moment. It was invigorating. It was exciting. It was destiny. Funny, how ordinary moments can turn out to be extraordinarily divine appointments.
ABOUT THE ARITST

Every artist has a unique story, a journey of their own in which each life experience contributes to and even molds the creative flow that comes from the deep wells within them. The place from which their artwork is hewn. For Kara, these wells are drawn from her experiences with Jesus. Each art piece she creates is an expression that flows from that place. The end result - an expression of an inward desire to magnify His creative nature. Such expressions that cannot be conveyed with words. Such expressions that can only be revealed through depths of colors and textures that awaken the senses, comfort the soul and refresh the spirit.
Every piece is given a name. Along with its name, Kara will prophetically write out a unique message that explains the nature associated with each work of art. Kara's desire, as an artist, is to bring revival to every place her artwork is displayed. Her initial focus was to “create waves” with her medium of resin. You will see this as a predominant theme throughout her gallery. However, Kara’s art is not limited to creating waves only. She also creates a variety of additional art pieces to suite the diversity of personal style and color preferences. In addition to all of the awe-inspiring works of art you can find perusing through her gallery, Kara Jane also offers custom commission pieces to accommodate every client’s unique desires and needs.
